Ceilidh
Tickets for Ceilidh will be available until Wednesday 22 June. Adults £18, children under 12 £8. Bring your own drink and (plastic) glasses. For tickets contact Peter Gomes on 07867 798848.
Wrist Bands
In order to speed up access to the field, especially for parents with children in the procession, wrist bands costing £2.50 for adults and £1 for concessions (children are free) will be available from the Trading Post in the run up to Rose Day. They will also be available before the floats set of from Booth Bed Lane and outside the Crown before the procession arrives.
Road Closure
Main Road will be closed between Both Bed Lane and the Church n from 1pm -2pm on Rose Day and access to Booth Bed Lane from Main Road to Booth Bed Lane will not be permitted from 12noon until the procession has left.
Procession
Please ensure that all children taking part in the procession arrive at the starting point on Booth Bed Lane from 12.30pm so that procession can eave promptly at 1pm. For safety reasons and in order to ensure that all on-lookers can see, only marshals are permitted to walk alongside the floats.
Prayers at the Cenotaph
The Rose Queen and her entourage will process to the church for the traditional prayers and wreath laying with the Rev Heather Buckley
Car Parking
Please us the field opposite the Crown (accessed before the procession by the roundabout at the bottom of the school field) or the special facility behind the Red Lion. Only cars with special permits and disabled drivers will be allowed on the Village Hall car park.
Sunday Service
The Rose Festival celebration service at St Luke’s Church is on Sunday 26th June at 10.30am. All are welcome.

1.45pm Prayers at the cenotaph led by Rev Heather Buckley, Vicar of St Luke’s
1.45pm Band playing on the school field
2.00pm Crowning ceremony and presentations to the winners of best floats and banners
2.45pm Maypole Dancing by Year 3 from Goostrey School
3pm Silk Brass Band playing on the school field
3pm Tea for Goostrey Rose Queen 2022, her attendants and their families
3.30pm Tug of War contest on school field followed by announcement of competition winners
4.15pm Prize Draw
7.30 Family Ceilidh with food (BYOB)
